I really enjoyed reading this Kathryn, and loved how the first step you mention is being in our bodies and starting to feel--I’m sure I was terrified of this for years, if not decades, but getting in touch with my body and how I feel has really opened up my world over the past few years ✨ Have a good end to your week!

Yes! It’s amazing how there was this entire world that was almost hidden to us (or we’d hidden ourselves from -- for lots of good reasons) 🌿 And now we get to rediscover, reacquaint, and come back to an intelligence we never knew (or forgotten) we had ✨

Aw, thank you Luisa ☺️ It took me a few years, but one thing I learned was that my ‘shoulds’ and my self-criticism, are *always* a version of me who is trying to protect myself. She’s always a child wearing a big scary mask and big scary language, to tell me something I think I need to hear. One question that has helped me along the way is, “What is the positive intention behind the discomfort?” Behind the anxiety, behind the uncomfortable sensations your body is offering you, there is a message your body is trying to get through to you, without words. There’s always a positive intention. And coming back to that, again and again, has helped me see that my brain and my body are never my enemy. They are always a friend 🌿
