Thank you for this insightful post. Lately, I notice that I move quickly from task to task without completely them. Little household tasks get left undone. One big struggle for me is completing a task that requires learning a new skill. Technology can stop me in my tracks when the learning curve seems insurmountable. I like your suggestion about breaking tasks into smaller pieces. That helps me move through the hurdles. I tend to avoid things that seem overwhelming and stressful. I am currently working on removing old tasks from my plate. ❤️
Thank you, Blythe, for sharing. Little tasks can really mount up and feel like an insurmountable hurdle in themselves. They feel so big, altogether. But I feel a lot of life is like that: If we zoom out far enough, it seems so vast and full of all these things we can never get round to… I don’t know about you, but it makes me want to go hide or at least have a lie down!
It’s a cliché, but it really is one thing at a time. One moment, one focus, one breath at a time 💛
(Easier said than done, I know. But at least we have a lot of opportunity to practice!)

So true! We do have lots of time to practice.
