Hello,
Firstly, loving reminder that if you want to book a free Not-My-Birthday coaching session with me, you have until end of play Friday to do so. You can choose a session date after this Friday (19th May), but after Friday the booking link will no longer offer any available slots.
So, if you’re thinking this is for you (a 90-minute session where you get to focus on what you want going forward, and gain clarity on how to do so…), book a session in here now. Or, if you have questions, hit reply/email me :)
Secondly...
A thought I’ve been mulling over recently is the idea of 'Authentic Consistency' vs. 'Capitalist Consistency.’
I suspect you know what I mean by 'Capitalist Consistency.'
Mon-Fri 9-5 (and much later…); output, output, output. Schedules, boxes, time-keeping. Regularity, rigidity.
Whereas, what would you think if I said the words, ‘Authentic Consistency?’
What does authentic consistency mean to you?
I invite you to explore this, if it resonates. There is no one way to do authentic consistency, and that’s the beauty of it.
I invite you to claim an idea of authentic consistency that works for you. A consistency that is more rooted in nature, perhaps. A consistency that acknowledges we are living beings, with hearts and minds that are both organic and connected.
What would it mean if you were no longer ‘capitalist consistent,’ but consistent with you nonetheless?
I’d love to know your thoughts :)
Love,
Kathryn
PS. Book your Not-My-Birthday session in here now! You will be unable to schedule in a session if you click the link after this Friday (19th May). However, there are slots/times available after this week, so please book your session in if this is something that speaks to you.
If you have any questions, hit reply or email me.
PPS. I have one slot available for my 6-month coaching package. If you would like to be more at peace with yourself, less anxious about your work, and feel like you’re making progress consistent with your values… schedule a call and let’s discuss how coaching could work for you.
This has been playing on my mind for days. Authentic consistency feels so comfortable to put on and wear. It's not forced, but it does feel alien given every structure and society we grow up with and live in. So even though it feels entirely right, it feels wrong at the same time.
Love this, Kathryn! I've been exploring the idea of consistency too, especially in the realm of feminine vs masculine energy. I view masculine energy as information + data based. This kind of energy thrives in a traditional 9-5 capitalistic space. But feminine energy, which is more intuition based, thrives in a more fluid state (or authentic consistency, like you say). Definitely makes me think about how I best thrive and when! Thanks so much for sharing.
