I love this so much, Kathryn. I spent so many years feeling guilty for my procrastination habit and waiting until the last minute to do my creative work, but over time I learned that's exactly how I create, and there's nothing wrong with it. I've also learned that I just need to keep creating, and stop waiting for perfection. Maybe those aren't systems, but they are my little pieces in my toolbox I'm building to make my creative life. Thank you so much for writing this post, it really got me thinking!

Love it, Hunter :) What if our 'procrastination habits' are sometimes just 'how we create'? What if it's exactly on time? What if our rhythms are not 'procrastination habits' at all? I do think procrastination often arises because of an inner conflict -- but sometimes that conflict can simply be 'I want to do it this way, and the world says I should be doing it this way...'

I love that you know the little pieces in your toolbox. That's what matters, isn't it -- what tools work for you, and how you use them 🌿
