Hello!
The other day, I released a new sales page. I was super proud of it. (Still am!) However, I realised not long after that something was missing.
(If you don’t know what I’m talking about, quick context: I've created a new sales page about the work I do — helping people change the voices of self-doubt in their heads.)
You see, I’d been super keen to speak to the transformation (coach speak for ‘change’) of what happens when you turn your inner critic into a voice that’s much kinder and friendlier.
However, I hadn’t really spoken to why you might want to do that.
I’d said that having a mean inner voice sucks. I’d said it stops us implementing ideas. Stops us taking action. Makes us doubt ourselves (big time). It offers us cruel insults, and it takes a whole load of energy to withstand.
But why would you want to change that? Really? Surely it’s obvious, no?
The thing is, the people that work with me don’t just want a friendlier voice in their head. (Although of course, that’s amazing.)
What they really want is a voice they can trust and collaborate with — as they forge ahead and create the new life they desire.
People don’t just want to change the voices inside their head… They want to create a new life for themselves.
As soon as I realised this, I knew I had to change the sales page. I also had to change the offer, slightly — which I will get into further below.
You see, this had meant to be my ‘shiny new offer that finally explains what I do and how I help people.’ And, in a way, I’d gotten most of it right.
Because the fundamental part of what I do is help people change their relationship with themselves.
But there also needs to be a reason why we want to do that in the first place.
After all, change is big and scary, right? We wouldn’t do it unless we suspected there was a potentially big pay-off on the other side.
I’m happy to report, there is :) As my clients say, this is the kind of work that makes you finally feel ‘at home in yourself.’
So, this is the thing I need to get better at telling people:
The people I work with know they want more. They don’t always know what that ‘more’ is.
This isn’t a surprise. (Or a problem!)
Often, the voice of self-doubt doesn’t allow you to know what you want. It’s so used to shutting you down, you don’t get to hear your own wisdom.
It’s easy to get lost when the voices in our head are conflicting, and we don’t trust ourselves to make a decision. It’s easy to tell ourselves we don’t know what we want, or what changes to make.
The first step is to challenge the self-doubt. The first step is to trust.
You don’t need to know exactly what you’re going to do in your new future. You don’t need to know exactly what ‘it’ is that you’re going to change.
Because when you change the voices of self-doubt in you head, how you see your entire world changes. How you see yourself changes. How you see possibility changes.
The most difficult thing in the world (or so it sometimes feels!) is to start trusting yourself. Self-trust doesn’t come from ‘trusting more’ or ‘working harder at trusting.’ (I’m smiling to myself because I know this will resonate with a lot of people!)
Self-trust comes from the shifts in the relationship you have with yourself; as well as the people, creatures, and creations around you.
This shifting isn’t always easy. It takes mental (and often, emotional) agility. It takes a lot of practice and curiosity.
It is also never done in complete isolation.
You may have listened to podcasts. I suspect you have read tonnes of books. I also hope and imagine you have support around you, whether that’s online or offline.
But — and here is where I give my pitch — having the dedicated space and time to do this work is pretty priceless. Having someone to guide you as you make these internal shifts, can make everything so. much. easier.
This is the work we do inside the coaching programme I’m offering.
Over 6 months we work together to shift the voices and loosen the negative patterns. In their place, we create new habits, and a voice of self-trust. A voice you actually appreciate and enjoy :)
We do this because this is the voice that helps you towards your future. This is the future you want to create, with more connection, ease, and fulfilment.
We take 6 months because this is the length of time I have discovered works well for shifting those patterns and creating new ones. It also helps you start to imagine the new future you want to create.
If this sounds interesting (or good!) to you, I invite you to book a call with me and discuss.
I only work with clients I know I can best help, so if it’s not a good match, I will say so. (And if you’re worried we aren’t going to be a good match, you can always message me first and we can take it from there.)
The price is £1,200 (which is about $1,500 US) or 6 payments of £200, and I’m offering an early-bird price of £990 until the end of the month.
If you’re ready to say ‘yes’ to self-trust and yes to the future you want to create, click here to find all the details on the webpage, and give me a call.
Speak soon :)
